Great vibes, but service needs a boost
We really enjoyed our time at this place! The pool was awesome, and the beer 101 package was a sweet deal, even if IPAs aren't my thing. The staff was mostly cool, but the bar service took forever our first night, and the food was cold. We ended up eating in our room, not ideal. Overall fun stay though!

Enjoyed the quirky atmosphere and the themed rooms, especially since the staff was super helpful. The dining options offered good food but were a bit pricey, and the parking situation is a little chaotic. Would love to visit again for the unique experience!

Had a fantastic experience at McMenamins Anderson School. The atmosphere felt incredibly unique, reflecting its history as a former school. My room had charming decor and a cozy vibe. Loved the outdoor seating with fire pits, perfect for evening relaxation. The saltwater pool was a highlight, making for a great family-friendly spot. However, some staff interactions felt a bit off. Noticed a lack of friendliness from a couple of employees. Dining was good, but the service was on the slower side. Morning coffee service was limited, forcing me to venture floors up for a refill, which was a bit annoying. Overall, enjoyed my stay, but the staffing inconsistency needs some attention.

Family with children a great getaway
We loved hanging out by the warm salt water pool. It was a real hit with the kiddo, and to top it off, breakfast was served right on time unlike some other places I've been. Plus, I reveled in the unique ambiance of the tiki bar while the kiddo splashed around.
It wasn't exactly pocket change, but considering the fun we had, it was still acceptable.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We spent a night here and loved exploring the historic vibe. We checked out a local theater and a beautiful park while enjoying drinks by the fireplace. The service was friendly, and the amenities, including multiple dining options, made it easy to hang out. Perfect spot for a group getaway!
The only downside was the dim lighting in the dining area, which made it hard to see the menu clearly.
